Search for Marisol Taken on New Life

We need your help. Anyone who hikes in The Fells Reservation, please keep a keen eye out for Marisol. Just the other day, we got 2 photos of a dog wandering in The Fells who we believe is Marisol!

Thank you to everyone who has kept an eye out and called with possible sightings. Each bit of info brings us closer to rescuing Marisol.

We need another sighting to close in on her location.

Marisol is a copper-colored, 20 lb. dog with a fluffy tail, fox-like face with lighter cream colored fur on her muzzle.

She has been living in The Fells for some time but looks quite healthy in the photos we have.

Marisol has been seen on the Cross Fells and Skyline trails between South Border Road and Silver Mine Hill.

She now thinks like a wild animal, so please do not call or chase her if you see her. Please call us at 781-334-8364 right away with the exact location and anything you can tell us about how she looks.

A few of us volunteers look for Marisol everyday, but we need your help.

Call 781-334-8364 right away if you see her and please spread the word.

Thank you.

I have been going with my dog..Im going to start going with out him..I should have asked you..If anyone wants to go at night..I have a friend that will go..but not alone. I have also parked on South border rd..early am..sometimes I see animals of all kind..crossing from woods to homesnear jerimia circle..I have also been looking for her den..where she might sleep during the day...God lead us to Marisol..I have been taking pictures of the landscape and then enlarging them when I get home..no luck yet..but I pray...I will check back in with you daily from now on...I have also been walking the fence along 93 northbound.:: To other..check for ticks before getting in your car once you come out of the woods...

The sightings have been during the day and I wouldn't recommend going in after dark. We have a very large Fisher Cat on camera...too risky. And the pics we have that may be Marisol were taken during late morning.
YES! The trail that goes across South Border Road to Jeremiah Circle is an absolute possible route for Marisol. It leads to previous sighting locations. Thank you again, Ella.

...I was up at sky line ..I was wondering if marisol mom knows when marisol starts sheding..we may be able to see clumps of fur on trees..my dog will rub up against trees bolders..just curious if marisol sheds..I past 7 hikers and reminded them to be on lookout..it was really quiet their today..I thought i heard a weird cry today..twice?? could have been some other kind of animal...but it sounded like a yelp? don't mind looking everyday..more when kids go back to school. I covered more ground and was able to look in more caves and rock formations with out my dog today..and was able to keep quiet and still and really look.......no news is still good new..I have also been looking for footprints near waters edge...and will take pictures if I see any.
