Senatore, Vivian (Malabo), Mother of Medford Resident

  • Survived by: Her four children, Rose M. Senatore and her husband Angelo J. Messina of Medford, Vivian Brockton, Janine Dania, Fla., and John of Holiday, Fla.

The daughter of the late Ismaeli and Mary (Barbieri) Malabo, she was the wife of the late Louis Senatore; mother of the late Louis J. Senatore; and the sister of the late Leonard and Edna Mae Malabo.

Vivian (Malabo) Senatore, a longtime resident of Hanover, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.

She was born in New York, N.Y., Oct. 24, 1925. Vivian was formerly employed as a claims secretary at Zurich Insurance in Braintree. Mrs. Senatore loved to cook for friends and family, especially chicken soup. She enjoyed painting, writing humorous song parodies, solving crypto-quip word puzzles, reading novels, playing Scrabble and watching classic movies with her kids.  

A funeral Mass was celebrated July 18, in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Hanover. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery.
