5 Things: Local Businesses Opine on Economy, Football Registration, Weekend Weather

Good morning, here are five things to know today:

A Little Cooler: But still unseasonably warm. Highs are expected to top out in the low 70s today with mostly sunny skies. It's expected to cool off more this weekend, with highs in the low 60s Saturday and low 50s Sunday, according to the weather service.

Junior Mustangs Registration Saturday: The pre-high school football and cheerleading organization is hold registration tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jim's Market.

Local Business Survey: In a survey conducted by Patch, local business owners reported seeing improvements to their business in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same quarter last year, and are optimistic that things will get even better in the coming year. Among those who participated in the survey was Mystic Coffee Roaster in Medford.
