In its third year of being "Funny to the Core," the Magners Comedy Festival returns to Boston with five nights of local, regional and national comedic entertainment. From Jan. 25 through Jan. 29, the festival will unite five of Boston's best comedy stages in showcasing the talent of the Hub's funniest stand-up and improvisational comedians. Supported by Magners Irish Cider, the brand is a strong advocate for comedy festivals worldwide.
The festival is thrilled to welcome back a wealth of talent from Boston's own stand-up community in addition to a stellar lineup of national acts. Beloved Beantown treasure, Tony V, takes the stage along with Lamont Price, Graig Murphy, Dave Russo and Dan Boulger. Also, from his nationally recognized podcast WTF with Marc Maron, Marc Maron will hit The Wilbur Theatre, as will the hilarious players of the Upright Citizens Brigade, The Amazing Johnathan and Tom Papa, host of NBC's The Marriage Ref. Additionally, fans won't want to miss Colin Quinn, who closes out the week with his Broadway show Long Story Short, directed by Jerry Seinfeld.
