Five Things: School Tech Upgrade, A Calm Day, and Drunk Driving

Here's five things for Wednesday, Jan. 11.

 

1. Green Light: The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night for the approval of $3.3 million to upgrade the schools’ aging technology infrastructure, including revamping the wireless internet system and adding new computers.

2. Calm before the storm: Today will be sunny with a high temperature of 37 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. But snow will move in over the night, and mix precipitation will arrive Thursday.

3. Two wrongs don't make a right: A Salem, N.H. man was charged with his second drunk driving offense Friday night. Read this and other highlights of the police log.
