The following was provided by the Medford Office of Veterans' Services:

The office of veterans' services is currently collecting items to be sent to military personnel stationed in middle east or overseas. Donated items will be accepted in person at the Office of Veterans Services’ at City Hall until August 1.

Among the items requested: Letters of encouragement and thanks, used or new DVD/CD’s, used or new soft covered books, new AA batteries, things that remind them of home, etc. This office can accept only authorized items for donation, thank you for your cooperation.
