Medford firefighters responded to 35 Washington St. at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday for a report of a fire in a third-floor apartment, according to police scanner reports.
Crews had the fire, which was described as “small” but “heavy,” knocked down by 12:37 p.m., according to the reports.
