Firefighters are at 369 Boston Ave. working a fire on the second floor of a residence, according to police scanner reports.

The residence is directly across from Nick’s House of Pizza, near Tufts University.

The call of a structure showing smoke came in at about 10:30 a.m. this morning. In addition to the Medford crews, Somerville and Malden firefighters also responded to the scene. Multiple ladder units were called, according to the reports.

The fire is in two second-floor bedrooms, according to Mike Moura, @NEFireBuff on Twitter. Boston Avenue is currently closed in that area, he wrote at 10:40 a.m.
