Teamsters to Help Stop Protest of Campbell Funeral

A fundamentalist Kansas church has said they will protest the funeral of the Boston Marathon bombings victim.

Teamsters Local 25 has encouraged off-duty members to go to Medford Monday morning to prevent the fundamentalist Westboro Baptist Church from picketing the funeral of Krystle Campbell.

In two tweets Sunday evening, the Teamsters asked their members to report to St. Joseph's Parish on High Street at 8 a.m. Monday "to form a human shield to prevent Westboro Baptist Church from protesting the funeral of Krystle Campbell. Please show up if you can so that we can give her and her family a peaceful burial."

The funeral for Campbell, who was killed in the Boston Marathon bombing attacks last Monday, is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
