Medford firefighters put out a two-alarm fire early Thursday morning at a block of stores on Main Street, according to public safety transmissions.

Firefighters first responded around 6 a.m. to 363 Main St., where the officer in charge reported a fire in the basement of the store block with possible extension to the first floor.

Fox 25 reported that the fire broke out in Chromatic Tattoo Studio & Body Piercing, which is located at 365 Main St., before spreading to other adjacent businesses.
