What Business Would You Want to See Open in Medford in 2013?

If you could open one kind of business in the city, what would you do?

Assume money was no object and the only limit your imagination: what kind of business would you love to run in Medford?

It could be a store you feel would perform well in the city, or a business that would provide a much-needed service.

Would you love to have your own bar? A coffee shop? Maybe there's something off-the-wall you've seen work really well in another community.

Whatever it is, share your ideas with your neighbors in our comment section below.

I would open a wonderful camp program in the Brooks Estates. This would help kids greatly because kids and adults outside in nature areas have less stress, reduces problems with ADHD and other mental illnesses, helps kids with obesity, increases cognitive skills (thinking skills), and creates respect and appreciation of the environment. Children dont get outside much today for a number a reasons, which is why a lot of kids are lacking in a lot of these areas. Most adults who think of their favorite childhood memory think of something they did outdoors. Children today arent able to form those types of joyfull memories anymore. It would also give money to the Brooks Estate and a greater awareness to the city as a whole.
I also wish thier was a pet minute clinic because their isn't any place to bring your pet without spending a ton of money

Yes, and yes. And some retail that acknowledges that the largest demographic in town is the 25-34 age group.

Trader Joes! Definitely! I'd also like to see a new restaurant go in where Happy Haddock used to be! Maybe a Longhorn? They would kill it!

A cafe with healthy quick lunch options like with made-from-scratch soups and salads to go (food that is not too salty!)
