Woman Spots Lewd Act While Fishing at Mystic Lake in Medford
The woman spotted the man on the Arlington side of the lake.
A woman fishing with her husband on the Medford side of Lower Mystic Lake Sunday evening called police at about 6:45 p.m. after she spotted a man with his pants around his knees on the Arlington side who appeared to be masturbating, according to Arlington police.
The woman, who was near Mystic Valley Parkway in Medford, told police that she first yelled over to the man that she could see him and told him to stop. She said the man continued until she yelled over that she was going to call police. The man then ran away from the lake, toward East Arlington/Somerville, she said.
She described the man as a white male in his 40s, wearing a gray T-shirt and royal blue shorts. Police were unable to locate the man.

well if you see a crack addict shooting up or a house being robbed, by all means call the police yourself. I'm sure they'll respond even quicker to that call. Part of the police dept's job is to respond to calls from us.

One day I was on lunch break, and while walking around a non-descript resevoir in Framingham, just on the fringe of what is known as "downtown" framingham, I encoutered two adults having intercourse in the nude (def two transients/homeless); it was shocking. A black man and white woman -- who was blushing... I was in a bit of shock, but not really all that horrified.. They def did not have money for a room.. The next day I saw a snapping turtle that was about the size of a VW Bug, and that was horrifying!

Probably the same guy that's been doing the same thing for years. I remember witnessing the same thing in the 80s when I lived by there. Place is a breeding ground for creeps and always has been.

Certain areas get that reputation from time to time. I rememebr seeing a tape of an old City Council meeting with an agenda item by Bob Penta talking about similar activity in some part of the Fells. I applaud this woman for making the call and the police for responding. this is the only way to stop such activities in public.
