Twelve legislators have signed on to the bill primarily sponsored by Rep. Keiko Orrall of Lakeville and Sen. Michael O. Moore of Millbury. If passed, the legislation would go into effect from Sunday, Aug. 11 through Thursday, Aug. 15. I'm hoping to drive my old beater into the ground before we need to get another car, but I'm on the lookout. What's your next car going to be?
My wife and I drive a perfectly good 2002 Nissan Sentra with 127,318 miles on it. "Stella" has four wheels and gets us from Point A to Point B. We've reached the stage in the life of the car where we don't repair body damage (as you can tell from the accompanying photo). I'm ashamed for my Dad to see it. But hey, it's paid for. Family-run Holovak & Coughlin in neighboring Arlington is closing its doors Sunday, May 19.
After a half century serving area teams and athletes, Arlington's Holovak & Coughlin will close its doors Sunday, May 19. It does appear the Coughlin family will have some sort of relationship with the new venture. The family left this message (attached) for their customers. “The Coughlin family thanks you for your loyalty and patronage. It has been our privilege to serve Arlington and the surrounding communities for just over 49 years.” What’s your reaction to the news? Where will you go for sporting goods now? Let us know by…
