Are you due for your first screening mammogram or has it been several years since your last screening mammogram? If you feel anxious about having one, then schedule your screening mammogram at Hallmark Health System’s Meet.Mingle.Mammogram event.
The relaxed, spa-like atmosphere of the evening will make your screening mammogram a pleasant experience and fun night out. Spa treatments include chair and hand massage plus refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and a free swag bag for all attendees. The American Cancer Society recommends annual screening mammograms for all women 40 and older.
The event will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at 101 Main St. Medical Center, Suite 116, Medford. To register, call (781) 391-2121 or visit www.hallmarkhealth.org. Registration is required.
To be eligible for this event, you must be 40 or older, have never had a screening mammogram or a screening mammogram at Hallmark Health System. Annual mammograms are covered by insurance if scheduled 12 months and one day apart. No physician referral is necessary.
