On Sunday afternoon February 24th from 2pm-4pm, Temple Shalom of Medford, located at 475 Winthrop St. will feature a fabulous family festival for kids of all ages.

 

Fantastic face painting, a balloon twisting extravaganza, interactive children’s games, prizes, a kids costume parade, arts & crafts, a treat-filled piñata and of course lots of delicious Hamantaschen for everyone (fruit filled cookies symbolic of this Purim holiday) can only mean one thing: The Jewish festival of Purim is upon us!

 

Come in costume as part of this fun holiday tradition and get your giggles at this Purim Party-palooza!

 

Admission

A donation of $5 per family can be paid at the door.

Since 1958, this Winthrop Street temple has been a gathering place for the Jewish community in Medford. The temple holds Shabbat on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, and weekday Minyans Sunday through Thursday.

The temple's complex is also home to the Bloomberg Community Center and Temple Shalom Religious School, a Hebrew school for children from pre-kindergarten through third grade.
