Yoga Pilates Fusion Class
Yoga and Pilates are natural soul mates. Both improve flexibility, strength, and balance through an intelligent, mind-body approach to fitness and overall conditioning. Pilates helps us organize the body and build the abdominal strength to support our skeleton and frame. Yoga postures help expand our range of motion and flexibility and make sense of our developing strength for everyday life. This combination class will expose students to the essential Pilates repertoire and key concepts of neutral spine, shoulder blade stabilization, and integration of the core muscles of the body. This understanding of body mechanics will allow students to undertake a series of yoga postures with greater confidence, underlying strength and core support practicing healthy breathing and concentration and ending with a deep guided relaxation. This class will be challenging yet rejuvenating and is appropriate for all levels including fit beginners.
6:15 – 7:30 pm
10 Weeks: January 7 through March 25
(Please note Yoga Pilates Fusion will not be held on January 21 or February 18 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Presidents Day, respectively.)
$150 for 10-week session (cash or check payable to Christine Rioux at first class)
5-class card $80. (Must be used during this 10-week session.)
$18 drop-in rate.

Springstep, located in a state-of-the-art award winning facility in Medford Square, offers dance and music classes for all ages, shapes, and sizes.
From Hula to Hip Hop, Ballet to Bollywood, Salsa to Swing, Springstep has been teaching students how to dance for over 7 years. Springstep also features an art gallery space, social dances, performances, and workshops. The facility is available for private rentals as well.
