Despite claims to the contrary, this author has received mailings from out of state DIY companies that did not even know that two witnesses are needed for a valid MA will, and thought only a notary was needed. Some states have a gift tax and others do not. MA estate tax law is unique and unlike any other state. This stuff is too important to leave to a company based in Texas or CA. 
Will they point out to you that you maybe should file a MA homestead declaration? Will they look in our registry of deeds for you whether you already have one or if you need a newer, better declaration to give you more asset protection? Will they care? Can they?

The Beebe Estate

Three local artists,&nbsp;Debra Corbett, Constance Festo Lafond, &amp; Sophie Glikson Cahen have work on display at the Beebe Estate through April, showcasing some of the range and talent of the artists in our community.&nbsp;Each artist set up their work in one of the three main rooms on the first floor, and although their styles and approaches are very different, the exhibit works well together as a whole, highlighting the differences in their styles without creating a jarring effect in moving from one room to the next.
The combination of these three artists’ work - multi-layered, textural abstract paintings; non-representational and nature-inspired works; and familiar subjects rendered unfamiliar by bold colors and brushstrokes&nbsp; -and womens wearable art&nbsp;creates a powerful effect for the visitor. &nbsp;Come by Saturday to experience first-hand some of the range of creativity we are lucky enough to have among our local artists.&nbsp;11am - 3pm!&nbsp;

Coalition for Arts, Culture, and a Healthy Economy – invites you to be a part of the 2024 Medford
Arts &amp; Culture Summit from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, at the new Arts
Collaborative Medford community arts center at 162 Mystic Avenue. It’s been
over eight years since the first Medford Arts &amp; Culture Summit, convened by
the Medford Arts Council in late 2015, and so much has happened to improve and
broaden the arts and cultural offerings in the city since then — from a new
library to a new arts center, new or reactivated music venues, and many new
programs and organizations.
The 2024 Summit will
include a recap and celebration of accomplishments since 2015; a panel
discussion and Q&amp;A with Medford arts and culture leaders; small-group
breakouts of attendees followed by an open forum discussion on the current and
future state of the arts in Medford; presentation of CACHE’s 2024 Synergy
Award; and tours of the new community arts center and studios. All are welcome,
but seating is limited and
