First-Place Chiefs Open Postseason Play Wednesday

1.) After earning a bye in the first round of the Intercity League playoffs, Medford’s Andre Chiefs will open postseason play Wednesday, Aug. 14, against the winner of the Arlington Trojans vs. Reading Bulldogs at 8 p.m. at Malden Catholic High School. The defending champion Chiefs finished the regular season in first place with a 24-6 record. The semifinal round is a best-of-five series.
