Patriots Honor Medford Resident with 'Difference Maker' Award

The resident was named the 'Patriots Difference Maker of the Week' Thursday.

The Kraft family and the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation honored Medford resident Sue FitzPatrick Thursday with the “Patriots Difference Maker of the Week” award.

Former Patriots linebacker Eric Alexander presented FitzPatrick with the award at the Alzheimer’s Association’s Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter in Watertown.

FitzPatrick, who lives in Medford but was an Arlington resident for almost 60 years, has been a volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association for more than 28 years. She volunteers at the chapter in Watertown, as well as with the Greater Boston Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

The Kraft family and the foundation also gave the Alzheimer’s Association a $1,000 grant on behalf of FitzPatrick’s volunteer efforts.
