Fenway Opening Day: Solar Thermal on Fenway Park!

Fenway Park is one of several Boston-area buildings with solar thermal on the roof.

I recently went on a tour of solar thermal sites in Boston, and to my surprise,  Fenway Park was one of them!   They use solar thermal panels to provide hot water for one portion of the park that includes several kitchens and bathrooms.

The park does not have a lot of space for mechanical systems, therefore the tanks that the panels supply are cleverly wedged in a small space under the roof!

Good luck Sox!
