Hallmark Health System recognizes Veterans Day

Hallmark Health System (HHS) was proud to honor patients and employees that served in the United States Armed Forces this Veterans Day. Snacks and red, white and blue bracelets were given out to patients, visitors and employees and inpatients at both Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Nov. 11. Any inpatients that served in the military were also visited by employees.

“I think it’s very important for our system to recognize our veterans,” said Rick Westhaver, a nurse educator at HHS and Major in the New Hampshire National Guard, who spearheaded the celebration. “We want to make our veterans feel appreciated.”
