Spot in Boston Harbor May be Named for Marathon Bombing Victim

A gazebo overlooking the Boston Harbor may be named after Boston Marathon bombing victim Krystle Campbell.

The Boston Park and Recreation Commission will vote on Monday on the proposal to name the shelter on Spectacle Island after the Medford native, according to a report in the Boston Herald.

The spot was a familiar one for Campbell, who used to cater clambakes on the island when she was general manager at Jasper White’s Summer Shack.
