Tufts Alumnus Wins Nobel Prize in Economics

Eugene Fama, a 1960 graduate of Tufts University, won the Nobel Prize in Economics Monday along with two other U.S. economists – Lars Peter Hansen and Robert Shiller, according to a Boston Globe report.

Fama and Hansen teach at the University of Chicago, Shiller at Yale.

The three helped reveal how stocks, bonds and home prices move over time, according to the report.
