Hear About E.B. White's Favorite Dogs at an Authors Event in Medford

The granddaughter of author E.B. White will be in Medford to talk about the collection of White’s essays, poems and more.

Martha White, who also manages E.B. White’s estate, has collected some of the best and funniest of his works for the book “E.B. White on Dogs.”

On Wednesday, Aug. 14, Martha White will appear at Bestsellers Café at 7 p.m. to discuss the book.

Some of the pieces appeared in The New Yorker magazine’s Talk of the Town column, and the book also includes White’s sketches of some of favorite canine companions.
