GreenUp CleanUp @ Capen Street Park

Capen Street Park, located near the Medford-Somerville line and Tufts University, is a much-beloved playground. 
 
Among its many play structures, the park boasts one of Medford's best water-spray features as well as a full-sized basketball court.  The Medford Family Network uses the park regularly -- and this year the MFN is partnering with park neighbors and Grace Church's GreenUp CleanUp team to do a community-wide clean-up of Capen Park on Saturday, June 16th from 9-12.
 
Fresh, healthy food and drinking water are being provided by Medford Whole Foods -- and Magnificent Muffin is donating coffee and other goodies.  We encourage residents to bring their own items to share.
 
The clean-up organizers invite all interested neighbors and community groups to come along, bring a rake, gloves, and a neighborly attitude and let's make this park a wonderful place for the kids this summer!
