The famous cronut – the croissant/donut combination that has taken off since starting at the Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City – will be available at area Whole Foods during the month of October, according to Eater Boston.
Whole Foods will offer the treats, in lemon, raspberry and Boston cream, at most of its stores, except for some of the smaller ones, Eater reports. They'll definitely be at the new Arlington one, according to Eater. No word yet on Medford.
People have been lining up outside the Dominique Ansel Bakery for a taste of the hybrid pastry.
