The Medford Deli has changed its signature sandwich name from “The Meffa” to “The Medford,” according to a Friday Facebook post.
The deli did so due to “several customers requests.”
As I learned in July, you never called Medford, “Meffa.” However, “Medfid” and “Mefid” appear to be acceptable. At the time, I referenced the sandwich as one of the reasons I assumed “Meffa” was acceptable.
The Medford has breaded chicken breast, provolone cheese, marinara and thinly sliced prosciutto.
