Medford Resident Opening Cake Shop in Arlington

The shop is moving into 2 Lake St. in East Arlington.

The Fashion Cake Boutique received an operating license Monday from the Arlington Board of Selectmen.

The shop, which will focus on custom cakes, such as wedding cakes, is moving into 2 Lake St. in East Arlington’s Capitol Square – the former home of Kidcasso Art Studio, now in Wakefield.

Roselynn Garcia, a Medford resident, is behind the new venture. Garcia most recently ran her own cake shop in Puerto Rico, where she is from.
