Tenoch Defends Health Record on Facebook After Boston Globe Report

See Tenoch's rebuttal.

Tenoch Mexican took to Facebook Sunday to defend its food truck’s health record after a Boston Globe report listed it as having one “critical violation.”

Here was Tenoch’s explanation:

“We want to clarify to our customers that today's Boston Globe article about food truck hygiene posted misinformation about Tenoch Movil. When we first decided to open a truck, we went to the inspection site to learn about the requirements, on April 2. They told us what we would need and marked us as not passing the inspection, as we were just setting up. But this was before we began operating, on May 5. We have never had a hygiene violation while in operation, much less a critical violation. It is very important for us to maintain sanitary conditions, and it's disappointing for a journalist to publish this misinformation.”
