One man has pleaded guilty and two others await court dates next week on charges stemming from the stabbing of a jogger on Salem Street last year. The victim was surrounded by a group of men on St. Patrick's Day 2011 near the intersection of Salem Street and Park Street, according to police. Dog Lovers Team Up for National Dog Day: Always wanted to adopt a dog but just never found the right time to do so? Why not visit the Animal Rescue League of Boston, or other pet adoption agencies in search of the perfect pooch on National Dog Day. Aug. 26 is National Dog Day. That's the day animal advocate Colleen Paige has designated for honoring all those dogs who bring in the paper, and all those dogs who are neglected.
