5 Things: Tufts Community Day This Weekend

Here's Five Things.

Chat Live with Gov. Patrick Thursday: Governor Deval Patrick will take your questions live on Patch this Thursday. Patrick will spend 45 minutes fielding your questions as they come.  Head to Medford Patch from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Thursday to join the chat. Tufts Hosts Tenth Annual Community Day Sunday: A barbeque, live music and family activities will be going on at the Tufts campus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in its annual community day for Medford and Somerville residents.

Weather: There's a 50 percent chance of rain today with highs expected near 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Sunny skies and cooler temperatures are expected tomorrow.

Report: 2nd Mass. Resident Dies from EEE: The second person this year in has died from the airborne illness Eastern Equine Encephalitis in Massachusetts, the Associated Press reports. The victim has been identified as Charlene Manseau, 63, of Amesbury, according to the Newburyport Daily News. Manseau's family told the paper she may have had a weakened immune system due to recent cancer treatment (Read the full report). Manseau died Saturday.
