Five Things: Close Call, Another Patch Poll, and Hockey Time
Here's five things for Thursday, Jan. 12.
1. Close Call: Medford will likely not have any accumulation of snow from a wintry storm that is expected to hit Massachusetts today, according to the National Weather Service. Instead, there will be mostly rain, about an inch worth, and winds around 19 to 22 mph. The temperature will climb to 45 degrees.
2. I want...: Now that the new year has settled in, Medford Patch wants to ask our readers what they think should be the top priorities for the town and elected officials in 2012. Take our Patch poll.
3. Let's go for a stroll: The River's Edge All-Purpose Sports Field in the northern section of the Park at River's Edge has been rebuilt and the path surrounding it is again open for running, walking, rollerblading and bicycling. Click here for more information.
