Medford Sings 'Jingle Bells:' Submit Your Video

Made in Medford, the local segment of Comcast’s Project Open Voice, announces the launch of its new Jingle Bells Channel, dedicated to celebrating the global holiday classic, on its website www.madeinmedford.com. 

To celebrate the spirit of the holiday, the Jingle Bells Channel welcomes everyone to submit their own rendition of the locally-penned, globally-loved holiday jingle. Along with featuring individual videos, the best (and perhaps the worst) renditions will also be “mashed-up” into one super-video, so businesses and residents alike are invited to have fun and put their unique spin on the song. From the Medford Historical Society to the Boys and Girls Club, from The Fells to Wellington Circle, no one celebrates the Holidays quite like Medfordians, so you never know whom you’ll see singing their hearts out?

Submissions can be entered directly through the Jingle Bells channel at www.MadeinMedford.com/jinglebells.

Written in 1850 by James Pierpont at a tavern in the heart of Medford Square, the song is used as the platform of holiday celebration in Medford.  Each year, the city’s annual “Jingle Bell Festival” kicks off the holiday season in Medford with a tree lighting ceremony and a host of family-friendly activities at City Hall.
