The Region: Julia Stiles Movie Shoot in Somerville, Alleged Dog Poisoner Arrested in Charlestown

Julia Stiles has been shooting her made-for TV movie, "The Makeover" throughout Boston this month, and now her project has landed in Somerville. Crews were scheduled to shoot at "inside locations" on Hudson Street Thursday and Friday, according to an announcement the city sent to neighbors. One neighbor who observed the film crew's set-up said filming will take place at a house near the intersection of Lowell Street. Indeed, the Somerville Board of Aldermen Thursday approved an event permit for the shoot, somewhat retroactively, for 73 Hudson St. and nearby at 20 Vernon St. -Chris Orchard

Malden Man Charged with Murdering Wife Indicted: A Malden man has been indicted in connection to the murder of his wife during an alleged domestic violence incident last month.  William Bryant Moseley, 45, of Malden, was indicted by a Middlesex Grand Jury on a charge of murder in the first degree. -Chris Caesar

Arrest Made in Charlestown Landscaper Dog Poisoning Case: Police made an arrest in a case of alleged dog poisoning that shocked the neighborhood. Police announced Friday that 53-year-old landscaper Kenneth Hyland is in custody, suspected of soaking hot dogs in antifreeze and leaving them for pets to eat. An area outside the Bricklayers Apprentice Fund at 550 Medford St. is the site of the controversy. The poisoned wieners may have been intended as a warning to dog owners to pick up after their animals. At least three dog owners recently told police at District A-15 they saw a landscaper at that location leave what they believe to be poisoned hot dog pieces on the grass. -Chris Helms

Arlington Police Still Seeking Thursday's Bank Robber: Arlington Police are asking for the public’s help in solving Thursday’s bank robbery at Citizens Bank in the Heights. Police have described the suspect (pictured) as a white male, approximately 5-foot-6. He was wearing a maroon baseball hat, dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and light colored sneakers during the robbery, which police responded to at about 9:52 a.m. He also disguised himself by wearing sunglasses and covering the lower portion of his face with a dark scarf, according to police. -John Waller
