Chevalier Theatre Organ Society Annual Meeting

The Chevalier Theatre Organ Society will hold its annual meeting at the Medford Historical Society, 10 Governors Ave. The meeting is open to the public. The guest speaker will be Gary Phillips, a principal at GHP Associates, an Attleboro company that specializes in restoring orchestral organs. The nonprofit CTOS was formed to raise money to restore and maintain a 1922 Wurlitzer pipe organ at city-owned Chevalier Theatre on Forest Street. The society has raised $34,000 of its $55,000 fund-raising goal and installation of the organ is under way. Mr. Phillips is assisting with the restoration, which is being directed by Richard Pelland of Pelland Organ Co.
