Six Acres Nursery School has been serving Medford and the surrounding communities for over fifty years, preparing students for kindergarten through the use of a developmental learning program. Two, Three and Five Day Programs are Available for children 2.9 through 5 years of age.
This past September, Six Acres welcomed brand new Director Jacqueline Duffy, who brings over 30 years experience in Early Childhood Education. Her developmental philosophy focuses on the principle that children continually build their understanding of concepts through their interactions, experiences, discoveries, and challenges.

“Six Acres provides opportunities for children to socialize, develop self confidence and learn about the world around them in a creative and supportive environment,” says Mrs. Duffy, whose high degree of professionalism, plus personal warmth and excitement has already led to an increased number of students enrolled in the pre-school program.
Six Acres revitalized program, combines language, physical development, science, math, and creative expression. These areas are represented in activities including creative play, painting, building, communication, games, cooking, and exploring nature.
At Six Acres, great teachers make the difference. Six Acres staff members work together as a team to promote a safe, nurturing environment, and a positive education experience for each child.
Six Acres Nursery School is located at 475 Winthrop Street, Medford. Enrollment is now ongoing for the September 2013-2014 school year.
