TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE DAY EVENT AT THE LoCONTE RINK, MEDFORD AS PART OF HOCKEY WEEKEND ACROSS AMERICA

On Saturday February 16, 2013, Medford Youth Hockey, Medford Girl's Hockey and the LoConte Rink has been selected by USA Hockey to host a  "Try Hockey For Free Day" at 12:00 PM to 1:00PM at the LoConte Rink, Medford.


In Massachusetts, Medford along with several other communities will join nearly 200 local programs across the country to encourage kids ages 4 to 9, to come to the LoConte Rink, Medford and try youth hockey as part of Hockey Weekend Across America. Each participant will receive a hockey jersey from USA Hockey.


To register, please go to the USA Hockey website direct or you can go to the Medford Youth Hockey website www.medfordrechockey.com and click on the USA Hockey link. You can also register at 12:00 PM on Saturday.

Ice skate rentals will be available for kids without ice skates. Hockey helmet or bicycle helmet is acceptable.
