UUCM LGBT Film Series continues with a 7:00 pm showing of "The Birdcage" on Friday, April 25th

The LGBT film series at the
Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford will continue with a showing of the
1996 film favorite “The Birdcage,” at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 25 at the Church
Sanctuary, 147 High Street, Medford.

Director Mike Nichols teams
up with his former partner/screenwriter Elaine May to create this sophisticated
remake of the phenomenally popular French musical farce “La Cage aux Folles.”
The film stars Robin Williams, Nathan Lane, Gene Hackman and Diane Wiest as two dramatically disparate couples who try to reconcile their vast differences for
the sake of their children who are getting married.

Come to our screening on
April 25 and learn how this all turns out. As always, we will have coffee,
munchies, sodas and popcorn. The film is open to the public and free, although
donations will be solicited.
