Solarize  Medford: It’s all in the details.

What’s in the Solarize package?  If you want the details, here are the particulars from the newest SunBug Solarize customer.  They are getting ready to install a new system this week.  Here’s what’s included:

o   This is a 4 kW system made up of 16 panels

o   The system uses a Solectria inverter, which is made here in Massachusetts

o   The residents  expect that this  system will generate 100% of their electricity consumption

o   The customer projects a 4 year payback

 

o   They will use SunBug's  SunWatch Meter,  allowing them to monitor both solar production and overall home consumption

 

o   The customer will be recouping almost 50% of the gross system cost in incentives: with the Solarize Medford Rebate and tax credits.

The proud new Solarize owner says:  "Being energy-independent offers strong financial and environmental benefits. Everyone likes lower electricity bills."

 

The Solarize Mass Medford program is a cooperative effort between the state, local officials, volunteers, residents and small business owners coming together to spread the word on the environmental and economic benefits of solar electricity. This progams is being administered at the state level by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER).

 

The Solarize Mass Medford program will run through the summer ! All Medford home and business owners will have until Sept. 30, 2013 to sign contracts in order to lock in the substantial savings this program offers.
