Medford Residents, Businesses Can Go Solar for Less
Solarize Medford is offering discounts for adding solar to homes, businesses and other buildings.
A Medford group is making it easier for city residents to “go solar.”
Solarize Medford, working with the Massachusetts Clean Energy Fund and the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, is offering a program for all Medford residents, business owners and non-profit groups.
Medford has reached Tier 2 in the incentive program, meaning those going solar will receive a 19 percent discount of the average cost in the state, according to an announcement from Solarize Medford.

Discounts rise as Solarize Medford reaches higher tiers – Tier 5 has a 24 percent discount. As the tiers go up, customers in the program will also get the higher discount.
The program only runs through Sept. 30.
