The flag is nine-stories high.

A ceremony honoring Medford veterans at Honor Roll Park Sunday afternoon will feature the “Mount Rushmore” American flag, which is nine-stories high and will be raised by a crane, according to a release from the mayor’s office.

The veterans’ names are engraved on a bronze plaque, which will be unveiled at the ceremony.

During the raising of the flag, members of the Massachusetts National Guard’s 101st Field Artillery Unit will conduct an official Howitzer salute.
