Ward's Gifts Owner Running 2014 Boston Marathon for Spaulding Rehab

Goal: This is my first marathon ever, but I am aiming to finish in under 4 hours.

Reason for running: The events of last year’s really inspired me to run for those that could not. I am running for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, whom helped so many victims from last year’s tragedy.

More: Running is fairly new to me. I started running a couple years ago, short distances through Melrose Boot Camp. The owner/trainer Joy Fay really encouraged me to run more, so it is amazing that I have gone from not running to running the marathon in such a short time.
