Is there such a thing called “Voter’s Remorse” ?

Just wondering. Because there were 7 Council seats up for grabs and 1 guaranteed new Councilor. We had several new candidates running that were well qualified to bring new and fresh perspectives.  We got nothing but the same old regime. For those who were looking to make changes, Not sure who you were voting for to make that happen. 

Marks and Penta made it back in. I’ll admit Penta standed down on the TV3 thing and requested 2 more weeks for the cable reimbursement fee issue. Maybe he read my blog post and made him think twice before giving yet another useless diatribe. Unfortunately, even after his speech, he still echoed the same words of someone he appears to be under the delusional spell of. I just had to shake my head in disgust. Penta acted like a puppet.

And Caraviello – What was he thinking requesting a specific street be re-paved?  The second I saw it I could see every other Councilor making an “amendment” to add a bunch of other streets.  Like I said before the election – I think Rick is a good guy, but not a polished politician.  In my opinion, he should have known better than to make a ridiculous motion like that. 

I love this City. I’m proud of it. And yes we have lots to improve on,

It’s “fun” for me to interact on Patch to hear all the opinions on issues. I welcome them. I encourage constructive feedback from all sides of an issue.

I always only asked it to be respectful to those who interacted.

Not so much fun to keep seeing the same old stories being said over and over that infer blatant wrongdoing.  It’s not fair – and it’s beyond old. I’m not sure how those posts are even allowed to remain on the site to be honest.

 That’s like saying the NE Patriots hired a murderer. Anyone who supports the NE Patriots are bad people because of the actions of a single person within an organization.  Hernandez was hired before the murder happened.  

I’m just so sick of the negative comments and innuendos of wrong doing without a shred of proof?

And there are so many negative comments being made about very respected people in our community.  I refuse to comment on those posts.  Maybe it will piss him off to see my blog topic getting more comments than his.  Unlike him – I don’t delete others commentary – as long as it does not attack someone for their opinion…
