Do Santa's Elves Deserve Coal in Their Stockings

Yesterday, Santa and two of his Elves, dressed in their Christmas Eve best, jogged thru South Medford.  They were wearing race numbers for the Somerville's Jingle Bell Run, and seemed to be heading to the 11:00 AM start time.

The Elf wearing the gold top hat and sunglasses was the most noticeable of the three, since he was running with a tire held on one hip.  The weight and bulk of the tire seemed to hinder the Elf's progress as he tried to keep pace with Running Santa.  Mr. Elf stopped, flung the tire to the sidewalk, and sauntered off towards the race.

Seems Mr. Elf had no choice but to drop his old tire by our front yard so that his landlord's property could remain neat and clean.  Santa's Elf left his debris on our street simply because trash and recycle companies in MA only accept shredded tires.

I would love to ask Santa if the other Elf jogging alongside him was the same female Elf who dumped a big green trash bag at our place during Thanksgiving, with her dog trailing behind her and pooping in her wake.

What was in the green trash bag?  Was it lobster shells, spent needles, bad chemicals or Breaking Bad beakers?  Did she think no one would notice her walking across two busy streets and into our yard while dragging a full Hefty Bag?

Maybe Ms. Elf running with Santa was the blond girl who used to bring a black Lab into our yard for a post-meal visit.  Blond Elf told a neighbor that no one ever said she couldn't use the yard as her dog park despite the posted signs that say private property.  I wonder, can all dog walking Elves read?

Running Santa and all his Elves should have been spreading Christmas Cheer in South Medford.  Alas, instead of joy, the Not-So-Nice Elves spread trash.

Question for Santa; Do the trash-dumping NSN Elves deserve coal in their stockings?

Wishing a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
