Celebrate the Fourth Annual Malden River Festival at the Park at River’s Edge, Saturday, September 21, 2013, 11AM-3PM

Join family, friends, and neighbors at this celebration of a wonderful natural resource, the Malden River in its beautiful setting in the Park at River’s Edge, 200 River’s Edge Drive, Medford. Enjoy a day filled with live entertainment including the Malden and Medford High School bands, the Paula Teransky Dance School, the Irish Step Dancers, SWAG, a Tufts University music group, and Core Cardio Fitness.  Have a sketch drawn by a caricaturist, and for car lovers come admire a classy Miata. Talented local visual artists, including seniors participating in the Mystic Valley Elder Services’ annual art show, will have their work on display and you can be part of selecting the People’s Choice Award. In between the entertainment, view the outdoor art gallery, browse informational community tables and demonstrations, and  grab a bite to eat at the River Café at reduced-cost.

This year, we will have a special feature, for as long as they last—free bike helmets for children! A generous donor has provided 350 bike helmets through the Malden YWCA. We will be giving them away to the first 350 children who come accompanied by an adult, starting at 11:30AM.

Tri-City Community Action Program, Inc.
