Frederik 'Freddie' DeAngelo, Former Medford Resident, Dies at 56

DeAngelo died Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Frederik “Freddie” W. DeAngelo, age 56, of Wakefield, formerly of Medford, died suddenly Wednesday, Nov. 27. Vice President of Metromatic Manufacturing & Waterair Supply Co. of Medford.

Devoted father of Nicholas and Frederik DeAngelo, both of Everett. Cherished son of Mona C. (Somerville) DeAngelo of Reading and the late Salvatore A. DeAngelo. Best friend and loving companion of Lisa Kelly of Wakefield and her children: Jamilee Kelly, Adrian Aiello and Alexandra Kelly. Grandson of Mrs. William “Jeanne” Somerville of Everett. Brother of Lisa Carroll, Brenda DeAngelo, Robbin Favaloro, Lauren O’Donoghue, Leonard, Gary, Thomas and Alan DeAngelo. Also survived by 27 loving nieces and nephews. Further survived by his constant companion, Rocco, his pet dog.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. Followed by a funeral service conducted in the West Medford Baptist Church, 59 Boston Ave., Medford, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Freddie’s memory to the Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
