Obituary: Francesco Gaglione, Medford Resident for 30 Years

Gaglione died Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Francesco Gaglione died peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Born in Italy the son of the late Sebastian and Nicolina (Cella) Gaglione, he came to Boston in 1966 and settled in the North End. Francesco later moved to Medford where he lived for over 30 years.

He was the beloved husband of the late Avita (Centrella) and devoted father of Sebastion Gaglione of Salem, N.H., Gerald Gaglione and his wife Deb, Fulvio Gaglione and his wife Carolyn, all of Tewksbury, and Rita Gordon and her husband Arthur of Middleton. Francesco was the loving grandfather of Sebastion Gaglione Jr., Rafaella, Jerry, Mia and Michael Gaglione, Nicole Cella, Samuel and Maxwell Gordon, and he was the loving great grandfather of Rosalie Cella.

A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, Nov. 22, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
