Obituary: Frank Bottari, aka 'Mr. Negative'

Bottari was a lifelong Medford resident.

Frank Bottari died unexpectedly at his home in Medford on Saturday, Jan. 4. A lifelong resident of Medford, he was the son of the late Stephen and Pauline "Polly" (Arria) Bottari. Frank had a sports-radio show in which he was known as "Mr. Negative," and later operated the A1 Airport Service cab company.

Frank was the devoted father of Brandon Bottari and his girlfriend Kaitlyn Los, brother of Stephen Bottari and his wife Linda, Pauline DiBlasi and her husband Sal, all of Medford. He was the loving uncle of Stephen, Jason and Christopher Bottari, Nick and Stephen DiBlasi, all of Medford.

A funeral service will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, Jan. 10, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
