Obituary: Joseph Deniso, Longtime Medford Resident

Deniso moved to Medford in 1971.

Joseph D. Deniso died peacefully at his home in Medford on Sunday, Jan. 12. Born and raised in Wakefield, he was the son of the late Antonio and Tina (Gaetano) Deniso. Joseph proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. In 1971, he settled in Medford and worked for the railroads.

Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Mary Rita (Campbell) Deniso and devoted father of Marita Deniso and Arty Flori of Waltham, Joann Deniso and Jack O'Donnell of Medford, Elaine Tuccelli and her husband Robert of Billerica. He was the loving grandfather of Nicholas and Jack Tuccelli and brother of Anthony and Charles Deniso, Lousia Arsenault and the late Jean, Frank, Mary, Gordon, Dorothy, Eleanor and Samuel.

A funeral service will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 8:30-10 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
