Obituary: Karen A. (Moscillo) Farrell, 46

Farrell died Monday after a long illness.

Karen A. (Moscillo) Farrell, 46, a homemaker and 14-year resident of Medford, who formerly lived most of her life in Somerville, passed away after a long illness on Monday, March 24, 2014. 

Beloved wife of James R. Farrell Jr. Devoted mother of James R. Farrell III and his fiancée Kate, John M. Farrell, Kristina R. Farrell and Joseph A. Estrella, all of Medford. Daughter of the late Rosemary Moscillo and Joseph E. Estrella. Dear sister of Barbara Daddario and her husband Gary of Tewksbury, Debbie Estrella of Somerville, Linda Estrella of Cambridge and the late Joseph Moscillo. Loving grandmother of Evan and Ayla. Karen will also be dearly missed by her many extended family members and friends. 

Funeral procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway, Powder House Square, Somerville, Friday morning at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Ann Church, Somerville, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Calling Hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
